The laptop USB lamp is well made, inexpensive and serves its purpose, but has a clear (pun intended) flaw. The transparent/translucent part of the lamp extends slightly over the edge of the lamp and creates annoying glare when the lamp is not rotated towards the screen, which of course means less light on the keyboard. I put a piece of tape on the side of the lantern to fix the problem. sticky but effective.
