Don't worry it's rubbish

I can't give 10 negative stars or I would. What a waste of time and money. Thank goodness I can send it back as I didn't even pick it up. They made awesome dog cages in the Midwest. It's a piece of junk. Consistently bad processing. First the handle is cast into the top. The old separate handles that snapped into the frame were designed for mallets and were made of a more durable material. If I had to keep wearing it, my arm would hurt. The plastic top and sides are much thinner plastic than the old boxes. Fastening clips are also made of thin plastic. I need this box for a 16 lb cat. It will not hold him back in any way. Don't waste your money and definitely don't buy this for any size dog. Try to find an old box in excellent condition on eBay. You pay more but it will be the best box. If you can find Doskodil's box (I think that's how it's spelled), those things are worth their weight in gold! I would like to provide photos of what a good box looks like. I have an older Midwest box (about 20 years old) and apart from being worn it is still like new. I have a Doskodil box that I bought in 1994, it still works great and apart from looking a little worn it's still sturdy.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled
