After 8 years, my good Citizen watch made its last tick in August. My first thought was to buy a cheap watch to wear until Christmas when I ask for a new one. I bought this device with skepticism - not sure what to expect. Of course the links should have been removed. With a little help I was able to remove 2 links myself so I didn't have to pay a jeweler and they fit perfectly. Since then I've worn it every day, washed a lot of dishes, cleaned, kayaked etc. and this watch has withstood all the rigors of everyday life. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance of this watch. I would definitely recommend this.
