Not even sure I want to explore this car further. If they can't figure out which 110->220v adapter to send, I'm afraid to turn this thing on. What other silly mistakes were made during construction? Well I tried anyway and apart from sending the wrong 220v adapter the machine works great. Just testing it, I burned a 6013 1/16" rod and it was everything I really expected and it worked fine. Then I tried a 3/32" 6010 and it did burned well too. I thought "why not" and pulled out a 1/8" 7018 and of course burned it too. Of course it was on the low end of what a 7018 1/8" rod needs and I don't think I'll try to weld anything over 1/4" thick with it, but it will catch fire and burn this rod. Very impressive. Well if they would just send me the correct braid so I could try it on 220v... <Last Updated> I was contacted by the seller and the rep offered to send me the correct braid. I'm sure it just works better with a few extra amps capable of delivering 220v. Whether you need something light and handy to burn a few poles around the house or do repairs in a place where you're limited Having access to electricity, this welder does its job. is working.
