This is the best hair clipper set I have ever owned and I have had many sets from many well known brands. After going through several hair clippers that failed for various reasons (battery won't hold a charge, battery corrosion, blades jammed, motor burned out), I decided to up my game and give these clippers a try, and I'm glad I did have it. It was packaged in an informative box that had a folding box inside and a thin plastic insert to keep everything in place. It has a red blade guard and some lubricating oil, which are minor touches but make initial ownership a little easier (remember, a little oil goes a long way). The cord is about 3.5 feet long, which gives me enough length to fold aside and charge when not in use. The blades themselves are standard plastic blades but come with metal cutters for added strength and support. I expected a lot less in this price range. The machines themselves fell into my hands like a glove. The guard slider is in a good position and I feel firm pushing it in and out to straighten my beard. The weight of the battery combined with the metal construction makes it feel well balanced so it doesn't want to slide forward or backward in different positions. A blue LED display with a black background and a shiny gold body make this clipper stand out in my bathroom. I've already had 3 friends comment on how cute it is when they come to visit and see these clippers sitting on my sink.
