Review on πŸ”₯ HOT TOOLS 1.5 inch Professional Nano Ceramic Curling Iron/Wand by Shannon Cool

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally big big waves that last!

This is my third curling iron that I have bought from Revain. I read reviews and watch YouTube videos all the time. I returned the much more expensive Paul Mitchell Gold which didn't frizz my hair at all. I then invested in a cheap 1 1/4" Conair barrel because my smaller Conair is great, but it was also disappointing when the nice waves it was making literally disappeared after 30 minutes. I've wanted a hot for a long time Tools irons but couldn't decide on which model. The company's gold-plated curling irons are very popular and I'm sure they would have worked, but my biggest concern was my hair type: very fine, dry, long hair.Although mine Hair isn't really damaged, it's thin and breaks easily. I've used Olaplex as well as protein and moisturizers but still have to be very careful. Nanoceramic is said to be the best flat iron for sensitive hair and we're hoping it prevents damage. Yesterday used for the first time and am very happy with it so far, found that with my longer hair on the back I needed to turn up the temperature a bit but even with 400 degrees I saw no smoke or smell of burning. I use a heat protectant spray. In fact, the iron was very delicate. I definitely have a learning curve with this tool, but I think I'll enjoy it. The swivel cord is amazing, the weight and feel of the iron make me think it will last and best of all my big waves lasted last night and into the night. Last night while I slept I braided my hair into a loose braid. This morning I just let my hair down and used dry shampoo and combed through with my fingers and my waves still look amazing. If the iron continues to work as well I'll probably buy the 1 inch as well.
