Of course it is suitable for vacuum, but it is not sealed and therefore does not work. Round rod, square hole.

For goodness sake they do NOT fit the Bissell Pet Vac. For those who say it suits their emptiness. Of course it fits, but the shape of the component is wrong and it doesn't seal. There are gaps and they are not small. Any suction you have not only goes into the filter (as it should), but around the filter and into the actual base of the vacuum, which can damage the motor and at the very least push dust back into the vacuum. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Pros
