So I don't weld. I have fatal contractions between my right hand and the dog. The dog always wins. Since I prefer not to touch my fingers and the dog has grown, I now use these welding gloves to protect my dog killer from skin or cartilage damage during a duel. These gloves are affectionately known as the gloves of death because when I do this bulldog/staff mix the bad guys turn into an angry devil and start killing right away. But because of the tough, natural cowhide leather (and the fact that I didn't wear the glove all the time) I tended to keep all my fingers, and these gloves lasted a good hour before snapping like Tony Hawk in a fresh one became devastated basin. Just don't let your dog eat what's left.
