You can use them as an accent to complement any of the matte shades and transform their look. I've tried every shade and while some are better than others, the whole set is worth the price. They blend very easily and I think some of them are pigments and not regular eyeshadows. Pigment can stain eyelids, so it's best to use foundation to protect your skin. Basically, these are shades of red. After trying these shades I don't think there are actual glitters in the palette. This palette's location is everywhere, but it has a monochromatic history with warm sunset tones. There are 32 different colors in the smaller 0.75" x 0.75" bowls. You can create many different looks with it and the quality is much better than Morphe and about the same as NYX. They are made in China, but most cosmetics these days are. I really like this palette and have not had any irritation or issues with any of the colors so far.
