Clean but a bit fiddly
It takes practice to wind the hair onto the shaft to get it curled nicely. I had very long hair when I first got this (to the top of my ass) and it barely fit. My hair took longer to dry when wrapped around this wand. Also because it was silly it slipped but I understand silk is good for hair. It was still damp even after sleeping, so best done with mostly dry hair - results are better in my opinion. The hair afterwards was not curly but more of a wave. what was nice Overall good but I haven't used it much.
