So wrinkled after washing I had to iron them - which will NEVER happen. This was after an ATTEMPT to match the color of the child's chair. Taupe - NO; Khaki - SIMPLE. I didn't even sleep on them because I was done after washing them. Note the only reason I even tried it was because the gloss was flawless out of the box and I figured MAYBE the color would "mix". Since I wash everything before use, they came out with ZERO shine and were so wrinkled and with so many threads sticking out I couldn't believe it. I use Tide Free and Gentle with the addition of Fragrance Free Downey, Gentle Cycle and Chill. I dried them in the HOPE they would improve in the dryer but it only got worse. They're inexpensive, and I suspect if you want a cotton pillowcase that looks like your baby used it as a Gerber baby food diaper, they're perfect.
