It was a beautiful dress. IF you are comfortable with a very tight body. I ordered a dress for the concert, but unfortunately didn't take it out of the mailbox until after the concert was over. It all worked out because I was ready to wear something different just in case. When the dress arrived I liked it because it is a very beautiful dress. However, I returned it for a number of reasons: to ME, the fabric made it a sexier and more elegant lingerie choice than anything I would wear in public; and the other reason was that I ended up wanting the back of the dress to be lined all the way to the bodice (the back is all lace as is the front) and I want the bodice to be lined all the way down. just a little longer. Even with these "problems" it's still a very pretty dress and it fits well - not too tight, not too loose (I ordered 3X although I usually wear a 14-16 underneath and somewhere between 18-20). (1X) to 22-24 (2x) from above). Just wanted to see how it would fit as some reviews said it "gets bigger" in the middle due to the tight fit. Overall I decided to give it 4 stars because it's a beautiful dress, it fits well, is a good length (I'm 5'7") and it would be a lovely inexpensive dress if you weren't after something looking too heavy in fabric if you're having a semi-formal event and don't mind showing some skin through the top; or if you have a hot date with your significant other and you want to be seductive and sexy while doing it! :-)
