I bought it for my ten year old son. He's 5'5 and about 115 pounds and I ordered a medium. He likes his jackets oversized and loose enough to wear hoodies and thermals that allow room for movement and activity while he plays outside (we live in Michigan). was supposed to have a longer torso because it wasn't that bad and there are velcro straps on his wrists to pull them tight enough not to cover his arms. He tried it himself this winter, and although he likes it, he even complained that it gets too hot when sledding at 20 degrees. Vents under the arms helped keep him cool.
