Review on 18-Piece Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife Set with Wooden Block, Sharpener, and Scissors - BILL.F by Patricia Rubio

Not bad at all - cutlery and knife accessories

Well the scissors suck and they're rusty and dirty too. Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a rush and found this out after using the knives, so be sure to disassemble the scissors before use. I should have known, especially since the packaging looked like it had been sent back earlier. For example, the tape looked very old and the box was broken in the corner. Despite all this, the knives looked brand new and untouched. The block looked new and intact and also very heavy. So, my only complaints about the dishes are crappy scissors (signs of rust) and worn packaging. For laypeople, the knives feel so good. They're easy to handle and have enough weight to feel real - if that makes sense. I washed the knives before use and dried them straight away - you should dry them straight away. If you don't dry them right away, I mean dry them completely, then don't bother buying them. However, I think this is standard with every knife. Just dry them right away and I'm sure they'll be fine. I don't have many of them to say how they will hold up, but I think you're paying for style and quantity with this set. They don't have those old school handles, so at least I know the handles won't loosen over time and pick up the nasty buildup you often see on other knives. I'm sure there are better knives out there but these will do the job just fine. They cut very well, feel great in the hand and look absolutely beautiful.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Not the best
