I don't know why he asked for a rating for the remote control because I didn't get one. I didn't get any instructions either so I had to figure it out myself which was a problem because it's not easy. The usual methods you expect don't work. It also has TERRIBLE background engine sounds. Thankfully, I mostly listen to talk radio, so it's not too annoying. I tried to listen to music, it was impossible to listen. . On a positive note once you figure out how to hook it up. it does it automatically and quickly. Call quality is pretty good too. I've used it for many calls and have had no complaints about not being heard. Thank you for reading my unsolicited opinion. -t
