Excellent Cold Steel kitchen knife

I recently purchased a Cold Steel machete based on a Japanese short sword with a tanto style point and was duly impressed with the workmanship and sharpness of this tool . boxing I cook a lot of vegetable dishes for my family, including red cabbage and root vegetables. The pairs of knives I had (both serrated and non-serrated) weren't up to the task, so I ordered this 6" serrated utility knife from Cold Steel and I'm very pleased. He easily managed a large red cabbage. cut it like butter. For the money (around $14), I doubt you'll find another kitchen knife better suited for chopping vegetables. The sharp blade and wide handle make this knife a winner.
