Warm and dry - tested during the bombing of New England!
Very warm and definitely waterproof! I used them for about 5 hours to remove ice and snow from our roof and gutters and they kept my hands warm and dry! The upper arm fabric got wet and obviously not waterproof, but the important part - my arm - was completely dry and roasted!
