I have a cat and two rough collies in my house and these animals litter all year round. This situation means that there is no practical way to protect clothing from fur contact other than wearing a protective suit. I had used a lint brush before purchasing these brushes and they worked quite well. Unfortunately, after a few years of use, it just fell apart. Animals won, right?! Not so fast. These more modern brushes came to the rescue. Everyone did a good job and managed to collect both short cat fur and longer collie fur. Finally some relief. If you're thinking of purchasing, be sure to get this pack of 6 brushes. Before I got them, I never had a brush in the right place at the right time. Fur always hides insidiously in places I don't expect. Now I lay out the brushes throughout the house and in my car's glove compartment for quick access when I need a quick touch up. Also... • They were attractively priced and the brush construction is relatively solid. • It is also good for general lint collection; especially after doing laundry. • My only problem with these brushes is the placement of the arrows that indicate the direction to brush. Why put them in dark plastic that's hard to read. Instead, a simple redesign with some white paint on the hands or some other high-contrast indicator on the grip to alert the user would work much better. with smooth surface. Think of it as a "preemptive strike" for your furry cat. This can work well on short haired dogs too, but not so well on Collies. :-)
