Before ordering this velcro specifically for attaching rug to rug I used the velcro I had at home. She seemed to be working fine. This velcro lasted about 2 hours before the rug started to lift/shift on the rug. It seems that the velcro itself sticks, but the sticky part doesn't stick to the carpet. I used super glue hoping for the best. The glue on this velcro is not as good as the glue on my old velcro. I assumed all velcro were the same, but now I'd give it up. So last night I added super glue to the 4" x 4" anti-slip stickers. However, this morning I had ripples and bumps on my carpets. So I've now put double-sided carpet tape all over the back of the rug, and to this I've added a sticky shelf liner. I don't have high hopes but it was something different to try. It's going to be expensive. The 6 rugs I bought to put on the apartment carpet were Safavieh Adirondack Collection ADR101B Ivory and Silver Oriental Vintage Distressed Round Area Rug (6 ft Safavieh in diameter). I cannot recommend any rug for rug fixing ideas. Or maybe it's those carpets that are causing the problem. This carpet on carpet problem is too complicated for me, I don't know what to do now.
