the thick pad is wonderful and beautiful. It covers the seat well but doesn't stay in place. The straps holding it to the back are stretched so it sags a bit, which isn't too bad, but the bottom doesn't snag my back seat at all. It has an adjustable elastic in the front corner of the bottom on each side to keep it in the bottom seat, but the elastic doesn't stay in place and is difficult to get around the bottom of the seat to begin with. I have a Subaru so it's a pretty basic backseat. My dogs are (2) large (80lbs) and one of them jumps around a lot so we were expecting some exercise but it won't stay in place for even a few minutes. They confuse him by just jumping in the car. It's a shame because otherwise I really like the cover. I'm not sure how they could improve this, but it is.
