Review on πŸ’† Maximilian Biotin and Collagen Shampoo for Thinning Hair and Hair Loss: Effective Hair Growth Set by Jenn Plata

The hair felt and looked weighed down

I love Maximilian Biotin Collagen Shampoo. It's silky and creamy. A small amount, about the size of a coin, is all I need to wash my shoulder length hair. It massages hair and instantly lathers it up and it's really nice. As I rinsed out the shampoo and ran my fingers through it to remove the suds and water, I felt my hair soften. If I only used shampoo I think my hair would be great. But after washing off the shampoo, I applied a balm. And to my surprise, I wasn't too impressed. It was a bit "syrup" and I had to use more conditioner than usual to get enough coverage on my hair. After it sat in my hair for a good 10 minutes, I washed it out like a shampoo. And as I removed the water and conditioner with my fingers, I felt tangled hair. Not very big tangles, but tangles that didn't exist before. When my hair was dry (I air dry it) it looked and felt a bit weighted. My curls and waves weren't as noticeable as usual. I ended up having to pin my hair up with a bobby pin instead of wearing it loose like I usually do. And yes. I definitely washed all the conditioner out of my hair. I left nothing. Both the shampoo and conditioner have pleasant, light scents that I really like. The scents don't last long. I love this shampoo and would continue to use it but not the conditioner. As it was suggested to use them together, I gave both bottles to my mother. I hope she has better luck. I have tried some of Maximilian's other hair care products and am still using them with great results and will continue to use them. This particular (pomegranate) product just doesn't work for my hair and I have no plans to continue using it.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
