I've only had this device for about a day. Not satisfied with the performance of the device. I needed something to quickly switch between different sources on my TV. I don't do anything out of the ordinary. Cable TV and DVD box. Additional entrances for future use. Game console etc. I'm not sure if it's too expensive because it's the first one I bought. The block itself is small and mostly made of plastic. Not the best quality, but it's nice that this is a small device. I don't know much about switches/matrix devices. All I can say is that this device takes a few minutes to switch between sources. I watch a movie on my DVD player and then switch back to my cable box. Sometimes switching between sources can take up to 10 minutes. Very annoying and time consuming. I still need the switch so I'll probably return this one and try to find one that works a little more efficiently. For the price I expected a much better performance.
