I have had several of these types of openers and prefer them to all others. However, THAT is sorely lacking. The pen is very small, I can hardly put three fingers in it (and my hands are not very big), the pens are also small, irregularly shaped and too thin. but it is an unpleasant experience and you will end up damaging the cork in the same way as the coiled one.
