I work with embroidery machines and digitize over 300,000 stitches every day. My shop currently has Isacord but we have used Madeira and Floriani. I wanted something inexpensive for myself so I took this kit along with the 20 coil metal kit. My expectations were low, but so was the price. Although to be honest I'm thrilled with how this thread works. It's durable, looks good, and I've had no problems running it on my home computers. My only complaint is that it's really aimed at the DIY enthusiast. Of course, the coil kit is good value for what you get. BUT. 40 watt filament only. If you want to buy a separate spool of thread, be prepared to shell out almost $6 for a 1000 meter spool. For the price I would prefer Madeira or Isacord. In fact, you'll pay about the same for a 5000 meter reel of Madeira or Isacord if you play your cards right. If you make over 50,000 stitches a day and use multiple colors, look elsewhere. If you are a casual sticker this might be just what you are looking for at a great price.
