Of course you don't get solid oak or anything like that for this price. Just a few notes so others know what they're getting into: Thing is a bit flimsy. I think he needs another "stabilizing bar" that is used for more power. The drawer is not designed to store anything essential. The bottom part is a VERY THIN piece of something. Worst of all, YOU MUST COVER THE SURFACE FOR PROTECTION. It scratches very easily, to say the least. I removed a piece of tape from the side leaving a scratch. When I say scratch, I mean a mark that looks more like a dent than a hole. Don't put a laptop stand directly on this thing, it will be scratched. It looks good. That's good, but don't expect to actually use it for a heavy workstation (of course it can't handle the weight), it'll scratch through the roof. I felt compelled to revisit it after a week. If I leave it alone, with no surface protection, it will RUN in a year. I'll cut glass or something.
