Review on Coaxsher RCP 1 Pro Radio Chest Harness by Robert Ryokan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good but not great.

Much has been said and most of the praise has been right. Front pockets for radio and accessories are good. Pen holders etc are all good. However, there is something missing in the material. Typical Chinese quality. I don't know how long that will take. I've been wearing my walkie-talkie in the elastic case for about 5 months and you can already see some deformation of the elastic. The shoulder straps are thin and could be improved. I wear L and find the straps comfortable. The folding feature is useless as the elastic used is quite flimsy. The main compartment pocket is limited. This backpack is sewn like a pancake and does not allow for compartment depth. As soon as you lay down a compass, a notepad, 2 maps and a strip of food, the edges deform like a black plastic bag filled with air. It has a very low capacity. I bought it as a case for HAM, GPS, PLB, maps, compass and essentials. It was almost there. The kit contains everything but the essentials. Can't carry many important things in it due to lack of depth. However, if it's for radio and a few minimal administrative things, I think it's spot on. Don't believe all the hype, this suspension isn't perfect. The materials could be better. Until it comes off.

Pros
  • Automotive & Automotive Electronics
Cons
  • Crumpled
