This is the best electric sharpener I have ever used. I used to have several battery powered pencil sharpeners. But they were all disappointing as he often gets stuck. But this electric pencil sharpener is a breath of fresh air. The manufacturer says the pencils are sharpened in 5 seconds. When I tested it, it took less than 3 seconds. I had no problem sharpening all my colored pencils and regular HB pencils. My daughter was able to use it without any help. The sharpener has a larger cutting angle compared to other sharpeners I've used. This makes our pens last much longer. My wife who is an artist loves this as she has several high quality pencils that she loves so much and takes great care in sharpening them.
