KONOLL Premier 7 inch Japanese Santoku Knife German HC Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Blade Hammer I really like this knife. It cuts through the tomato like butter with nice clean cuts. It also easily cuts through meat. I love how it feels in my hand and how perfectly balanced it is. You should hand wash this blade as it will last longer. One issue I have with this knife is that the textured surface on top of the blade contains many little nooks and crannies that bacteria can quickly grow on if not properly cleaned. It comes with a plastic sheath to protect the blade during storage.
