The main part of the crevice tool is exactly the same as the original. However, when the old one broke at the front mounting point of the vacuum cleaner, the pin on the vacuum cleaner necessary to install and hold the tool was lost because it was no longer held by the tool itself. This is possible at any time when the tool breaks and is hardly noticed and should therefore be provided with a new tool. The one-of-a-kind stylus likely costs a fraction of a cent and is not available individually as a spare or as part of other replacement kits. All of this may not be clear, but the bottom line is that my new OEM pinless crevice tool will not install on my vacuum and is therefore useless. It was a complete waste of my time and money. A star.
