These scissors solve my ongoing struggle to cut spring onions! I love spring onions. I hate chopping spring onions. I usually knead them on my cutting board and many of the segments cut with a knife tend to stick to the tiny connected piece because I don't cut the stocks cleanly. With these scissors, I don't need a chopping board, and I don't have to grind spare scallions into a loosely tied set of odd-numbered pieces. I can just take a handful of 4-5 scallions, hold them over a bowl and use these scissors to quickly get small neat chips! caught between several blades. I'm sure this will work with other herbs too, but I'm a pretty simple cook who makes the most of onions. Garlic. Ginger. Oil. Salt. Pepper. And these cleaners are only worth it for slicing green onions!
