V2 seems to be the best electric mount
I was hesitant to buy this due to negative reviews of welds coming loose due to bike vibration but for $25 I decided to try version 2. When I received it I gave it a few hard smacks and tried taking it apart a few times, it seems solid. I don't think the paint will be a problem either. I'm satisfied and you won't find a cheaper V-strom mount anywhere else. 5 stars for the price and no problems so far. I'll report if the weld doesn't go through, but I don't see it happening.
