Well I went too far and took mine. There were no returns and I was able to find a jack in a tractor stock to basically do what GeneralOne did. If you don't make the repairs as directed, which you absolutely should, it will eventually stick. I unscrewed the stopper (small screw on the side, 17mm) and then unscrewed the thread it's on, which needs to be unscrewed by hand. After that, I completely loosened the top nut (counterclockwise) until the boot fell off. Descent. I took this part to the tractor delivery and realigned the bushing, then reinstalled the bushing and used additional lube (I lubricated an anti-seize washer around the washer as an extra). For the bushing I received I had to drill a center hole. a little to reconcile it. After that it didn't stick anymore and I've used it 3-4 times on my tractor tire knocking out the bead no problem. It seems like a pain, but well worth it considering the value/cost of this tool. PS - FWIW, not sure if it's the rebuild, but I've only had an air impact wrench, not just an air impact wrench, and it works great. I only used the lowest loosening setting so it doesn't over tighten in the off position. I used a medium setting, probably around 250 ft/lb to tighten and when it slowed down I just used a pry bar to finish.
