We bought these for our two female dogs (sister. Ugh) who have an unpleasant habit of chewing on each other's collars. We desperately needed a way to keep the tags on them, but unfortunately Ellie was able to chew through Emma's collar on the first night. (We were asleep. Couldn't stop her.) We woke up to find Emma's collar completely torn and Ellie chewing on the plastic tab. were much thicker than those we had previously bought in stores and if our puppies didn't tend to think that dog collars are fun they probably would have held up to the general wear and tear.
