Not very bright, but that's the way it's intended
They're not that bright because that's the intention. I bought these to replace lightbulbs on an old filament that wasn't working. I had no idea how boring they would be compared to my new blonde strands. If you really want to replace lightbulbs with stranded wire, be patient, but not for those lightbulbs. It's just a lengthy process.
