Review on Hammer Milwaukee Electric Tools 2804-22 by Dennis Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes! But the clutch!?!

This drill is very powerful, but the grip is rough! The first 5 clutch settings for screws are missing! It's an electronic clutch system. The sleeve shows different screw depths when the screws start from 2-1/2" to 3"! Now the clutch will start to perform some functions in the first 1-5 installations on the screw version. The longer the screw, the more effective the hold! And this depth varies depending on the hardness of the wood or material! You can still use this bit on soft material though, but not in the same way as the old school 1-5 mechanical clutch settings! Traction and clutch are set to 1 and in screw version; Not that it matters where the clutch is with this trick! Trick: 1 clutch and a set of propeller options! Carefully insert the screw and drill into the soft wood! Screwdrivers, bits, Phillips or flat heads jump out of the screw head! This should not be confused with removing the head as the bit/tool you are using will come loose without damaging the screw or the softwood!

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Non-automatic
