I usually wear a headband when I run. However, when I wear long sleeves for sun protection, the headband slides down as there is no friction to keep it on my arm. To prevent this I have to pull the armband on my arm quite tight and by the middle of the run my arm was completely numb. This belt is wonderful! I really love it! I wore it for the first time this morning while jogging. I wear it on my hips and place my backpack on the back of my lower back so my phone lies flat in my pocket. It never happened. I find wearing it over pants works better than over a shirt. When I wear it over a shirt it ends up riding up because my shirt moves as my arms move while running which also causes the band on my hips to shift. But as long as I wear it right on top of my pants under my shirt, it's absolutely perfect. Let's see if it stands the test of time. I'm planning to post a new review after using it for a few months to see how it holds up.
