I bought them for my small dog claws.

If your dog has trouble clipping claws, you should buy it. I usually have to pay someone else for my two rescues, and one of them has to be muzzled. Everyone had a stress free time. I also quickly painted the claws of my new puppy without any problems and he was perfectly fine.
