Review on π Sierra International 18-7997 Marine Air Filter: Ultimate Performance for Mercury and Mariner Outboard Motor by Samuel Naidu
Not exactly the perfect fit.
Although it was a Sierra part number for my 90hp Optimax, the filter was slightly larger than the OEM filter it replaced. I cut off the rubber flange completely and crimped it into the case and it works, but it's not necessary. Otherwise the filter appears to be of comparable quality.
