I work with a lot of electronic equipment and usually use different sized solder wicks to replace components. With larger components, the soldering wick is sometimes not enough. I use this desoldering torch to suck solder out of circuit boards and components and it works great for me. It's not pretty, but it works. The tip is made of Teflon so it can withstand heat and the piston is large enough to create a vacuum to draw the solder into the piston where it cools and solidifies. From time to time you have to remove the bulb from the tip and spill out small chunks of solder. This is a good price for the product but the shipping costs seem high. This is a handy and simple product that has helped me work with many electronic devices. This works for me and gets the job done! PS This is a disassembly bulb, not a built-in one, you need to correct the spelling.
