Excellent product, easy to install. Doesn't come with a screw if you don't have a stand or screw or $7 kit from Amazon. It comes with a screwdriver, 5 stands and 5 screws. For those who don't have it installed. Locate the m.2 slot on your mobo (motherboard). Make sure you got the right key. M key versus B/M key. If you are unsure, contact your mobile device provider. Okay, first set up a standoff post. Exactly up to the stop. This is not an auto mechanic, there are no ft lbs of torque here. So be gentle. Insert m.2 into the slot. It needs a little nudge to slide inward. It will be at a 45 degree angle to the post. Then slide it all the way up with one finger. The strut is what it leans on to make it flat. Remove the screw from the stand and screw it into the stand post. The card must be held in place by a screw. That's all. Second tip: If you have multiple m.2 slots, choose the one furthest from your graphics card or processor, especially if you're overclocking. The plates are already heating up and don't want to heat up from overclocked parts. After installation, you need to partition the hard drive. As for cloning. There is cloning software on the Samsung website. However, when cloning windows, make sure you clone them in uefi mode, otherwise they will not work properly. If you are unsure, I suggest reinstalling Windows on a fresh m.2. Stupid quick install. Will buy more of these. They outperform preforms in terms of read/write speeds compared to almost every other manufacturer. The only other that comes close is WesternDigital's black edition. But still worse than Samsung. If you want the best and expect the best, take this. If price is important to you, not performance, then you can take any m.2 and it will be faster than SSD.
