Instructions are a bit vague for those who don't do this type of work. But judging by all the reviews and descriptions, this suggests that it is basic. After struggling with the first install, there were no problems with the rest. Then we went back and reworked the first one. I highly recommend buying the tools they recommend for the project. I think they should really just be a complete set. At first we didn't buy them because we had our own crimping machines and wire cutters. They didn't work the way I think they did. There is also a small teardrop detail at the end of the lanyard. We couldn't go on like this for a lifetime. In the end we gave them up. I don't know if that's critical or not. It seems to work fine without, but there is very little guidance in the manual on these parts and how to even put them on the end piece. Overall they look great, but the kiosk is not for newbies.
