too much adhesion causes a lot of problems
when sanding from a roll it's very important to be as time efficient as possible, I expect the sandpaper roll to be able to push the edge of my DA, open disc , Press the pad with my DA, I press briefly and the pad detaches from the roller, that's the advantage of the roller.
