After reading some reviews of other products that don't work when plugged into the back of a computer I settled on this adapter with antenna. I had a computer shoved into a corner under a granite countertop, so I was pretty sure the ones that looked like mini USB flash drives wouldn't work. This one didn't disappoint. I can walk about 30 feet from the office to the bathroom and the connection is still there, maybe a little off. When installing, it is important to use the drivers provided and NOT the ones that Windows installs by default. I bought it to listen to music and YouTube videos with my hearing aids.
