Review on Hilitchi Insulated Male Terminals Electrical Connector by Jay Maryland

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Garbage. Metal is too thin to make a secure and adequate connection

When a cable is mated with a connector, the metal is too thin, making it soft enough to require a twist, turn or pull or two in the Cables loosen this wire connection, resulting in a poor connection. The connector at the crimping point can be easily bent open; I have a strong grip and can easily manipulate the crimping area with my hand! I don't see them being used for their intended purpose with the wire they are intended for. The thicker wire is designed for higher currents, and higher currents need large contacts to hold the wire properly. Go to the right hardware store with the right standards and do the comparison for yourself. The thickness of the external connector conforms to the standards but absolutely not where the crimping occurs.
