I bought these for my husband who is not an avid biker but our 15 year old son is into cross country and likes to bike with his dad on the weekends. They usually do 3-4 miles but it is known to travel 10 miles. so not much compared to avid bikers but 3-4 miles in the seat can be a pain. Even if you have a gel seat. Dad was in all sorts of PAIN, so I thought of quilted shorts for his "parts". I read a lot of reviews and although they were a bit pricey for cycling shorts, I wanted to protect my interests 🙃 so I chose these shorts. He loves these shorts! He says there is no more pain and they fit well. He wears them over his regular jogging shorts, but they fit well and are snug around him and don't ride up. He says filling works wonders! He usually hand washes them in the sink after a walk and they dry pretty quickly. Overall a great pair of shorts and a worthwhile purchase!
