This is the second one I've bought. The first one saved me in August when I went under and the second one I would happily trust in the same situation. That being said, the gloves are very cheap and they were instantly destroyed when I hit the pavement. The ears remained attached to the helmet, as did the visor. The new helmet wasn't packaged as professionally as the first one and one of the Hemet mounting nuts was loose, but I fixed it and am in love now. Expect noticeable drag when driving over 80 km/h. Also, the clear layer peels off easily and usually starts with the bottom seal of the visor.
