Maybe just my application, RX 580

This is special to install on RX 580 and paired with ThermalTake Water 3.0. I read many forums to find out if this would work with my Gigabyte RX 580 and everyone seemed to agree that it would. Okhollllll, let's just say that technically it is. Basically, it doesn't fit the intended direction. I've tried a lot of things, but I didn't want to put a huge damn spacer between the heatsink and the GPU. However, if I rotate it 180 degrees, it stands up just fine. Problems with this method: 1) Your graphics card is much longer than it used to be, but luckily my mid-size tower had plenty of room 2) the built-in fan no longer matches the rest of the chipset, so it would be good to provide alternative cooling. I solved this problem by adding lots of glued on heatsinks and a Noctua fan. Note: I also included a _very good_ GPU standoff that I made myself with a threaded rod and some nuts so the Noctua fan can also be mounted on top of it, because now that it has so much extra weight it will that definitely load pci slot in the tower. 3) Strange issue: The graphics card will throttle automatically when no onboard fans are connected. So I basically just rotated the fans 90 degrees along the long side of the card, and now I have two more case fans. The downside to these is that they get in the way of the side of the case, so I didn't use them, which negates the noise advantage of water cooling. Dealing with as much heat as I could generate. I was working on the fastest overall overclock (GPU and memory) I could do, at max voltage, and I was able to run it through long tests and it stayed below 60C. Running games at the highest playable settings (I'm looking at playable 40 fps) and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 for hours never exceeds 50 seconds (no heat). Previously, this card easily went into the 80s under load, and hotter with the case closed. This could also be due to the aging of the thermal paste, but in any case: the water cooler reduces the temperature significantly compared to the stick. So: Final verdict: If your graphics card is officially supported, I think that would be great. If not, you can get creative like me.
