Fail safe for transmission.
Replaces the plastic threaded piece on the transmission filter. This will not fail like the plastic filter that comes with the filter.
- SUGGESTION: The standard screw is cheap plastic and doesn't tighten properly so it won't loosen over time. If you tighten it too much, the plastic screw will break. We recommend replacing the factory plastic bolt as soon as you buy a new or used truck, regardless of mileage. The steel screw can be used again and again with every filter change.
