Suitable for beginners and practitioners. It was very difficult for me to do something precise - the feathers are thick, clumsy and not very sharp. The handle is very small. The quality of the rubber is a bit poor - shavings get caught on any curved lines - but sharper tools can help. If you're creating a simple design with no small/round details, this works great. This is my first time buying this stuff and it's a steal and you get what you pay for which is why it kept 4 stars from me. I will definitely keep using it for simple and natural designs but will buy better tools and rubber to carve our logo. The image is the second design I settled on after 3 failed attempts to create our circular logo. I washed the gum and tried to clean the chips but the residue is visible. I used the highlighter to mark it because it was there.
