Review on 🎁 Humble Crew Extra Large Grey/White Supersized Wood Toy Storage Organizer by James Pernell

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but this is a terrible piece of furniture. Firstly, it is designed to be assembled manually at home using a regular screwdriver. Usually that doesn't bother me at all. I like collecting furniture. But in principle it is impossible to assemble according to the instructions, and it is not safe! It has long metal rods that you need to put together with those special flare screws. The instructions say to press down and they will crush the metal as they screw in. Again, you should be able to apply enough pressure to remove thick metal with a hand-held screwdriver. I don't see how it's physically possible unless you're a bodybuilder and you're holding a pipe in a vise or something. I stabbed myself in the arm trying (yes, holding the wand was stupid, but when you put it on the table it rolls. How are you supposed to do that?). I gave up and connected the pieces with tape. What's particularly confusing is that there are many other ways to join two pipes that actually work. Like a regular screw or pin. So why use impossible self-tapping screws for peeling metal? Then connect the bars to the boards with screws. It really worked and is pretty solid. Because they used normal screws for this step. Finally I put the cheap plastic containers back in place. They are of poor quality and do not fit! They are too wide for a shelf. Also, I think you can put toys there. Less than I hoped, but at least they're off the ground. So yeah, don't buy that. Definitely nothing close to the $60 they charge. I'd be happier with bricks, plywood, and trash cans. I would return it except 1. I was too lazy to disassemble it back into the box and 2. I didn't want to go to UPS and keep breathing. It's not worth it. I'm sorry I wasted the courier's time and safety with this order.
